In 2006, the Erosion EEL™ was developed and patented by Denny Hastings, a successful home builder in Middle Tennessee. Mr. Hastings saw a need for a new product to address erosion control measures after dealing with the constant frustrations of installing and maintaining silt fence at his construction sites. The Erosion EEL™ was created as an environmentally friendly, low impact erosion and sediment control device.

We at Appalachian Pipe Contractors have been using the Erosion EELs since 2007 with great results and cost savings. We have used them across the United States in the Northeast Region, with National Fuel Gas, Mid-south Region, with Midwestern Gas Transmission and Columbia Gulf Transmission, Southeastern Region, with Bay Gas Storage and in the Western Region, with Williams Northwest Pipeline.


Because of our great results with the Erosion EELS, we would recommend using them for perimeter control, diversion berms, slope breakers, check dams and trench plugs.
